Henagan Receives Life Achievement Award

Raymond Henagan, CEO of Rock Port Telephone Company, was honored recently at the 2010 annual meeting of the National Telecommunications Communication Association with the Manager Lifetime Achievement Award.
This award is presented to one manager from the membership companies who best exemplifies the ideals of all rural telephone systems and to honor a lifetime of service to rural telephony. Raymond has nearly 40 years of telephone experience and has been manager of Rock Port Telephone since 1998. When he arrived, the company employed seven people, today the company and its affiliates have grown to 43 employees.
The National Telecommunications Cooperative Association (NTCA), is a non-profit association representing more than 580 small and rural telephone cooperatives and commercial companies.
